Tata Motors’ most premium 5-seater SUV is about to make its debut in a new avatar. The Tata Harrier is already a stunning-looking SUV in its segment. In fact, we think it has the most attractive design made by Tata Motors. And now it is going to get even better with the all-new Tata Harrier Facelift Launch.

The 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift will make itself available to be booked by customers from the 6th of October, 2023. 

The unveiling event of the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift has not been scheduled or maybe is scheduled, but not told by the brand. We expect the event to take place at the end of this month, which is October 2023.

But, as Tata Motors wanted to announce that the vehicle is available to be booked by all the customers, Tata Motors actually gave a tease of the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift’s design. So, without wasting any time, let us dive in and see what we can find.

Well, there is not much to talk about the design of the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift, as the teaser was nothing more than just a slight glance. Still, with the help of this teaser and some speculations about the feature list the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift could carry with it, we will try to evaluate the matter a bit more deeply.

Let us first commence with what the Teaser tells us.

Exterior

New DRLs

A new DRL setup is clearly visible on the front of the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift. We can see that overall, the DRLs are actually the same, but there has been connectivity made between them with the help of an LED strip. Therefore, this tells us that the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift will surely follow the trend of connected DRLs. And like the new 2023 Tata Nexon.ev Facelift, it will also perform a welcome dance. Cool!

The second point that should be noted is that the DRL housing - if observed carefully - looks more likely to be deriving its design from the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift. By this, we mean that there will be a glossy black housing - which will run between both ends of the front - just like in the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift, and it will hold the connected DRL strip within it.

The third point to be taken into consideration is that, notice carefully, unlike the current pre-facelift 2023 Tata Harrier, the DRL housing’s design at both ends is different. Basically, in the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift, we will get a kind of sharp ending to the DRL housing’s design. If you look at the pictures, it is clearly visible that it is now kind of pointy at both ends. Well, this has been cleverly done to suit the glossy black DRL housing’s design on the front.

New Headlamps of Harrier Facelift

Thanks to the Tata Curvv Concept, it brought a kind of revolution in all the new-age Tata SUVs’ design language. The 2023 Nexon Facelift has already opted for it, and now the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift is preparing to do the same. 

Basically, the split headlamp setup is going to remain as it is on the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift but with a distinguishable design change. Like the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift, the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift will also be welcoming the sharp and will also have a symmetrical layout for its headlamps. 

Like the 2023 Nexon facelift, it will also have its headlamp units placed vertically below each other; most probably, it will have a main single LED projector as the primary beam and foglamps placed below it.

The housing that will contain these elements will be sharp and will have an angular design given to it, which will ultimately make the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift look fresher and more modern.

New Color of the Harrier Facelift

With respect to the vehicle showcased in the teaser, we can spot a very interesting detail, which, by the way, is a new color option. This new color looks more like a light brown or bronze shade and feels a bit towards a dull tone. Well, this has been done to give the SUV a more premium appeal yet with a rugged feel. 

This is what could be taken out in terms of details from the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift’s Teaser. To start with is the connected LED Tail lamps. These tail lamps, unlike the current tail lights that the 2023 Tata Harrier pre-facelift has, are different. They are designed in a way that they could cater to the continuity the brand will follow after the Tata Harrier.ev’s launch. As we saw in the 2023 Auto Expo, which took place in Delhi, the Tata Harrier.ev concept had those striking-looking connected tail lamps. And moreover, these tail lamps showcase their distinction, when compared to the Safari, as earlier, there was not much of a distinguishing factor between both of them.

The second aspect will be a new front as a whole, Except for the LED headlamps, which we talked about, the front as a whole will be revised in order to make it look fresh. This was a much-needed change for the Harrier, as on the current pre-facelift model, the front looks kind of underdone and also appears to be not giving a fair contribution to the vehicle’s overall design. Therefore, this time, the front will be done with a proportionate design inclusion and a symmetrically pleasing appearance.

The third point is a new Dashboard, The current pre-facelift Harrier’s dashboard is good. It gives a solid clap for the premium appeal of the car. But whether noticed or not. It has gotten old now. Almost 5 years and no change. So, the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift’s launch will also bring in a better laid out and sleek-looking Dashboard. This change will indeed support the modern factor of the vehicle.

And last, speaking of the Technological advancements, they will be heavily regarded, too. We already saw what the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift got. I mean, in terms of its competition, it looks and feels way more upmarket. New screens, a different user experience, and some unexpected features - including ADAS . it is all coming with the 2023 Tata Harrier Facelift’s launch.
