The New 2023 Ford Everest (Endeavour for India) has been launched in the international market for over a year now and is one of the only SUVs which can put a big dent in Fortuner’s Pie in the Overall Full-Size SUV Sales in India because of its unmated road Presence and Tech.
The new 2023 Ford Endeavour gets an entirely new Redesign with a unique front Fascia housing the Big C-shaped LED Lights with Matrix Technology in the Top End variants, and a big front grill connects these lights of different types in different versions of the car. The Fog Lamps are small LED Units with high reach and are placed quite high.
The Bonnet has a straight-going approach with full defined crease lines like that found in the last generation.
From the side, the SUV Gets an all-straight look with big 21-inch alloys in the Platinum Version, big wheels arches, all straight window lines, and straight looks, giving it a more commanding look than the Fortuner. The front door contains a titanium badge like other American SUVs. The roof still contains the old-fashioned Antenna, which makes no sense in 2023, and the roof rails are non-functional, just there to enhance the looks of the car.
At the back, it gets connected LED taillights with Everest or Endeavour badging in between and a slightly slanted rear window and the rear bumper contains the red LED Indicators. However, it still looks much better than the Fortuner, but the cool parts come inside the car.
Because on the inside the SUV gets a-new 12-inch vertical touchscreen display that can control 90% of the car’s functions (not driving, obviously) and gets features like a 360 camera, zone lighting, sunroof, seat controls, and much more. The driver gets a 10-inch fully digital instrument cluster, and the center console contains the drive mode selection, off-road mode selector, and the gear lever of the SUV.
The rear seats get decent space, but the third row gets an addition of space as compared to the last gen and still gets the iconic electric foldable function which, to date, no other SUV in the Segment gets. It gets a large panoramic sunroof, 3-zone AC, wireless charging and much more
The SUV Gets 3 differential locking modes to support your off-roading experience, 4 different terrain modes to assist you in different terrains, an Iconic 800 MM Water wading capacity, and 500 Nm torque to give the driver enough thrust to escape from muddy or sandy terrains
Power
Regarding Powertrains, the new Endeavour gets various Diesel and Petrol options. Still, the most suitable for India is the 2.0L Bi-turbo Diesel producing 210 Hp and 500 Nm of Torque.
The SUV Has been launched in other the worldwide market for over a year now, with Prices in Thailand for the Titanium + Version to be around ₹ 42 Lakhs, so expect the pricing of the same variant in India to be around ₹ 55 Lakhs Ex-showroom India which is quite reasonable considering the prices of Fortuner in India and the only way it can launch in India is if our Government reduces taxes on imported cars in India and Ford Launches it as a CKD unit in India because there are is no possibility of Ford Relaunching in India due to its more focused approach on the profitable which Indian is not one.
