September 10th, 2023

The 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift’s launch event created quite a buzz in the segment. The 2023 Nexon facelift packs some out-of-the-world features, which by far are new and were also unexpected for the entire segment. However, Tata Motors did not reveal any sort of detail about the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift’s price, as it was going to be disclosed on 14 September 2023. But, a very recent leak revealed the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift’s Ex-showroom Price.

Tata Nexon's Instagram handle leaked 2023 Nexon facelift's Prices

This leak was made by Tata Nexon’s official Instagram handle. Where one person commented on one of their posts and asked, “Price? We are waiting”. Replying to it, Tata Nexon’s official Instagram handle stated, “Hi, thank you for connecting with us. The ex-showroom price of the Tata Nexon starts from ₹7.39 lakhs*.” Therefore, it is confirmed that the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift’s price will start from ₹7.39 lakhs ex-showroom.

Happens to be cheaper than before!

The 2020 Tata Nexon or the current on-sale old Tata Nexon’s prices kick starts from ₹8.00 lakhs. But, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift happens to be ₹53,000 cheaper than its old 2020 model.

2023 Nexon to be most affordable SUV in the segment

2023 Tata Nexon facelift price

This leaked price also states that the 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift will be the most affordable SUV in its Sub 4-metre SUV segment. Where, before the 2023 Nexon facelift’s launch, Hyundai Venue was the most affordable SUV in its segment, with its starting ex-showroom price of ₹7.77 lakhs; followed by Kia Sonet, with its ex-showroom price starting from ₹7.79 lakhs; followed by Mahindra XUV 300, with its ex-showroom price commencing from ₹7.99 lakhs; and at last being the most expensive Maruti Suzuki Brezza, with its ex-showroom price starting from ₹8.29 lakhs

But, now, with respect to this leak made by the official Tata Nexon’s Instagram handle, it is confirmed that it will be the most affordable SUV in its segment. Its ex-showroom price for its Base Trim - Smart will be ₹7.39 lakhs, which is also ₹38,000 cheaper than Hyundai Venue’s base trim priced at ₹7.77 lakhs.

The 2023 Tata Neoxn facelift’s pricing surely states that it is already jacked in all terms and is ready to go head-on with its rivals, with some incomparable vital aspects. This assures us that the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift’s September sales will be way more than what it has been in the past 2 - 3 months. We expect a sales figure between 16,000 units - 19,000 units in its initial period after the launch.

Comparatively cheaper than Maruti Fronx, too.

The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is not only cheaper than its own in-segment rivals but also cheaper than one of its lower-segment cars, Maruti Suzuki Fronx. Where Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s ex-showroom price kick starts from ₹7.47 lakhs, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift’s ex-showroom price is ₹8000 cheaper than that of the Maruti Fronx.

This affordability of the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will surely snatch customers from Maruti Suzuki Fronx’s bucket, which will further bring a hike in the 2023 Nexon facelift’s sale figures.

Our opinions

We believe that this is extraordinary from Tata Motors. It is unbelievable that even after Tata Motors has offered a slew of features in the 2023 Tata Nexon and they have still managed to place it even cheaper than its Older model, its Rivals, and also somehow managed to price it cheaper than the cars which are from its lower segment.
