Recently one of our carversal pros ( @pratiks1239 ) spotted the new 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift being tested new Tata Pune Plant and these latest set of spy shots reveal a lot about the Upcoming Tata SUV.
In the First Set of spy shots, the exterior of the new Tata Nexon Facelift is visible with a lot of new details when looking closely at the front, the new Lighting setup is visible which has a dual split finish with a thin LED DRL running at the top and below its black housing containing the High beam and wide beam light in a squared of housing.
Then at the center, the new 2023 Nexon gets a totally new grill setup split into two parts with a slip upper part and the wider lower part containing chrome indents that look super close, but when looking closely we can see a front camera in the upper grill center slat confirming the new Tata Nexon to be equipped with 360-degree camera.
The vehicle is not expected to come with ADAS Technology as there is no ADAS sensor block on the bumper and additionally, there is no camera on the windshield, confirming the vehicle to not be equipped with ADAS tech.
Then in the second spy shot, the side of the vehicle is visible where noticeably the vehicle gets exactly the same shape as the current Nexon, but the side ORVM’s are of a bit different shape, ( maybe because of the 360 camera housing) suggesting a new set of ORVMs for the new Nexon.
But the biggest difference visible is the new set of alloys, where the New Tata Nexon Facelift will get 16-inch 5-spoke turbine look dual tone alloys where the outside will contain silver finish and the insides of the turbine contain an all-black finish. The alloys are not essentially for aesthetic purposes but to make the new Nexon more drag co-efficient as it will also get an EV version alongside.
But the newest details have come from the interior spy shots where Mr. Pratik has done an incredible job in capturing the SUV’s interior, in which the entire dashboard is visible with a purple seating finish.
First of all, there is an all-new dual spoke steering as seen in previous spy shots and the same as the one Tata showed in their concept cars. The steering contains a large horizontal slab that has the illuminating Tata logo in the middle, and the vehicle controls on both sides are also finished in black. The steering has a flat bottom finish that enhances the sporty feel of the interior and also is the first in the segment.
Then looking closely at the dash, there is a full-screen digital instrument cluster, a completely new dashboard look with newly shaped AC Vents and leatherette finishing running across the entire dashboard.
At the center console, the new gear level is visible which gives the feel of a dual-clutch transmission and looks much sportier than the one offered in the current Nexon, a Mode selector know is placed behind the gear lever with the same set of modes to select from as available in the current Nexon.
Behind it are the cup holders, hand brake lever, and the hand rest exactly the same as the current gen Nexon.
In the last spy shots, the boot of the new Nexon is visible and the overall orientation of the boot is pretty much the same with some differences in the light shape but the boot space will be moreover the same as the current Nexon.
The new Nexon is expected to launch with Tata 1.5l diesel engine already offered in the current Nexon, churning out 114 hp, and also a 1.2l Turbocharged direct injection engine producing 120 hp, which Tata introduced at Auto Expo 2023 and paired with a DCT Transmission for better performance.
This new 2023 Facelifted Tata Nexon is expected to launch by Diwali 2023 at an anticipated price of ₹ 8-15 Lakhs Ex-showroom India.
AS the Nexon launches in India, Tata will also launch its electric version, the Nexon EV, just a few months after with a similar design but an advanced battery system and more range, and better performance.
