5 New Tata SUVs launching in the Next 1 Year - Nexon Facelift to Sierra EV

May 16th, 2023

Tata has been doing pretty well over the past few months with its new Reimagine range of cars, which offer a lot better looks (like a lot better) and more advanced tech, but in the coming months, Tata has really planned a good lineup to conquer the market further.

Lets talk about all the potential launches in the coming months. The list has been placed in an ascending order - the car at the top has the high chances of being launched and the last car at last has the least chances to be launched in coming months.

Tata Nexon Facelift

New 2023 Tata Nexon Facelift official India Launch with prices and New Features interior

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift has been on the roads testing for the past several months and is quite close to its launch, with the New Nexon offering a new front fascia with sharper looks and design language like the Tata Sierra or the Curvv. On the side, the SUV will get new sharper alloys, but the main upgrades are on the inside with an all-new 10.2-inch screen with better UI, a new 2-spoke steering, a digital instrument cluster, and a new steering knob.

The new Nexon is expected to launch by July 2023, with prices starting at around Rs 8.5 lakh onwards.

Tata Punch EV

Tata punch EV launch dates

The Tata Punch EV has been spied for the first time, with the SUV having exactly the same looks as a normal Tata Punch but will have an electric powertrain (obviously), so expect a 32 Kwh battery as seen in the Nexon EV, but as the Nexon is lighter and smaller, expect an ARAI range of 350km. On the inside, the interiors will be pretty much the same, with some minor changes in the gear selector and the instrument cluster.

The launch is expected in 2024, with prices around Rs 12 lakh.

Tata Punch CNG

Tata Punch CNG variant launch date

This product is the most important one after the launch of TATA Punch EV. As the market needs are shifting towards low-maintenance city commuters which can do some highway runs as well, the CNG trend is increasing. Brands like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are bringing in CNG variants of their cars to cater the market and capture the segment through this aspect. Though Tata's have a bigger hand as they are bringing the TWIN CYLINDER TECHNOLOGY, which will make the Punch have a decent boot space even after the CNG tanks fitted.

The CNG variant might start from the price of ₹ 7.5 lakh. It is also speculated that, it will bring in the sunroof as a feature too.

Tata CURVV

Tata first showed the almost production-ready version of the CURVV at the 2023 auto expo, but the complete production-ready version is also done with Tata, with the SUV being the first coupe SUV in the segment (really sexy) and will have the Turbo Petrol engines from Tata, which offer great power with efficiency.

The SUV is Expected to launch by early 2024 at around Rs 11 Lakhs.

Tata Harrier and Safari

Tata has also been testing its new facelifted Safari and Harrier on Indian roads, with the SUVs getting some new upgrades like a new front look similar to that of the Harrier EV seen in the Auto Expo 2023. With the new facelifted ones getting dual split lights with a big LED light bar and smaller high beam units below it, on the side the overall looks will be the same but with bigger 18-inch alloys on offer, and at the back the SUVs will have a connected tail light treatment.

The inside looks are not yet clear, but the SUVs will have a Land Rover-like gear knob and simpler interiors.

The SUVs are expected to launch by the end of 2023, with prices that are almost identical to the current ones.

Tata Sierra EV

My favorite Tata of them all (I am Harsh) because of the great history of the SUV and the off-road legacy, the new Sierra EV will be high on off-road capabilities. With the SUV coming with an AWD electric powertrain and the highest power among any Tata car, the SUV will have a complete unique look with the rear doors merging with the room glass. The SUV can have electric sliding doors, as seen in the concept version, which can truly be an outlier as no other car in India has such advanced doors.

Not much has been detailed about the Sierra SUV except that it will launch somewhere in 2024.

Well these are the cars which we think that Tata Motors might launch in these coming months. We might be wrong with the launch timeline we mentioned because after all its an prediction made by us.
