The anticipation around Ford making a comeback to the Indian shores is growing steadily, but the real thing to anticipate is the Cars and SUVs that Ford will launch in India to make a powerful comeback, so here are the top Ford Cars and SUVs expected to launch in India in 2024/2025 if Ford makes a comeback.

5 – Mustang Mach-E India
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is the first fully electrified SUV to come out of the Ford plants and to make this special, Ford christened it under its iconic Mustang name to hype up the launch (which did not work out well). The SUV is selling in decent numbers in the US markets as it was the 4th bestselling EV with over 40,000 units sold in 2023 alone and as Ford has been hiring more employees for its Electric product development in India, this has a high chance of coming to the Indian shores.
The Mach-E serves a blended combination of iconic Mustang look with crossover styling where at the front we get super aggressive looks with sharp lights but no grill or air intakes to reduce drag coefficient. At the side, we get a coupe-ish look with a sloping roofline curved window lines, and protruding side skirts. At the minimum, we are offered 17-inch back alloys but can scale up to 21 inchers in the GT Performance trim.
At the back, we get the iconic Mustang treatment where the taillights are three vertical bars like the recent Mustang models, a full sloping roofline with a big spoiler to continue it, a tilted rear window, and a simple tailgate.
On the inside is where the most unexpected thing happens where a 17-inch vertical screen sits in the middle to control the majority of the SUV features, no center tunnel as there is no transmission, and gears are changed by a rotatory knob present in the middle armrest and a full glass roof.
The Mustang Mach-E for India will be offered in the base trim Select where we get a 72kwh battery and a single rear-wheel drive option producing a total of 266hp and 400 km of range on a single charge. This base model Ford EV costs around $42,000 in the US or around ₹ 35 lakhs but for India, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E is expected to cost around ₹ 70 lakhs On-road India.

The Ranger is an iconic 4 door pickup from Ford meant to offer a more affordable (no more) alternative to the Ford F150 launched mainly for the Asian markets, and recently Ford launched their fully updated Ranger perfect for the Indian Market as the demand for the pickup in increasing day by day.
The new 2024 Ford Ranger for India looks identical to the new Generation 2024 Ford Endeavour with C-shaped lights, a big front chrome grill, and a simple boxy front bumper.
On the side, Ford offers alloys ranging from 17 inchers in the basic XLS trim and the big duel tone 21 inchers in the platinum trim which are below the straight window and doors to give a more masculine look.
At the back, the new Ford Ranger gets a 72-inch bed made for extremely rugged use, Vertical LED lights, and a tailgate with big RANGER lettering.
On the inside is where the real fun happens in the new Ranger, where we get a big 10-inch vertical screen to control the majority of the functions of the vehicle, a digital instrument cluster, and a leather Seat.
In the international market, the new Ranger is sold in more than 7 different trim levels with a Range-topping Ranger Raptor equipped with a 400hp v6 diesel but in India, the Ford Ranger Sport is the best-suited because of a fuel-efficient 2.0l turbo diesel producing around 200hp and will be priced around ₹ 40 Lakhs in India.
3-Ford Bronco India
The Ford Bronco is one of the most iconic 4WD drive off-roaders to ever come launch and the new generation Bronco carries forward this legacy above and beyond (Land Rover line) with extreme off-road capabilities. The new Ford Bronco comes in Bronco (Hard Core Off-roader) and Bronco Sport (rugged compact SUV) trims BUT for the Indian market, the Bronco 5 door is the best-suited one.
In terms of looks the Bronco has a unique body style with a straight bonnet, rounded front LED Lights, a black off-road oriented grill with an upright bumper for a better approach angle of 43 degrees.
On the side, we get completely straight and off-road oriented looks with detachable doors and roof, side mirrors mounted on the body rather than the doors, and at the back, we get somewhat a Thar-like look (in my opinion) where there are small squarish LED taillights, back mounted spare wheel, and lifetable rear window.

The Ford Mustang made its way to the Indian shores way back in 2016 but did not get much good response initially, Ford sold its last units in India in late 2019 but recently in the used market, the demand for a Mustang is just over the roof. Dealers are asking 10 Lakhs above sticker for a 6-year-old car and still, people are willing to pay. So why not just launch the new one and ride the tide?
The new 2024 Ford Mustang for India is completely changed with more muscle and tech on offer where at the front the same Mustang theme is present with a sleeker bonnet, grill, and lights.
