Hyundai has teased an update for its Alcazar with new design and features. The Alcazar is an SUV with 6 & 7 seating options. The Alcazar is based on the Creta’s K2 Platform. In India, this platform is also used by the Hyundai i20, Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Verna Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet, and Kia Carens. The Alcazar was first launched in 2021, rivaling the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7OO, MG Hector Plus, and Kia Carens. The Alcazar since its launch has been quite successful in the segment it belongs to. It has repetitively been ranked 4th or 5th in the sales chart of the segment. 

2025 Hyundai Alcazar

The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar will be heavily based on the current 2025 Hyundai Creta. This family SUV will be longer in terms of length & wheelbase and taller than the Hyundai Creta. On the other hand, its direct rival - the Tata Safari - the Alcazar will be longer only in terms of its wheelbase. 

The 2025 Alcazar will mainly bring a new design to the table. The teased images of the 2025 Alcazar reveal the entire design language of the SUV from all sides. The SUV will have boxier and sharper design aspects throughout. 

The Front of the SUV will be inspired by Creta N Line’s design. It will have quite a few blacked-out elements with a Split Headlamp setup using all LEDs. The Grille will be placed between the two headlights with three bars placed horizontally. The DRL design will also be different and have the ‘Hyundai SUV’ design trait, which is an ‘H’ shaped design. The Front Camera unit for both the 360-degree Camera system and ADAS functions with a Radar will also be given on particular variants. 

From the Side, the 2025 Alcazar has got the exact Creta-like look until the C-Pillar. After the C-Pillar, Alcazar’s design looks much like a simple extension of the design just to fit in the Third row. The wheels on the 2025 Alcazar happen to be 18 inches. Their design has been kept very sharp and angular. A few new additions can be seen on the 2025 Alcazar - A set of Roof rails has been added and has been kept at an elevation. This might confirm, they could be useable, unlike any other roof rail offering SUV in the budget segment. Secondly, a Skid plate has also been added to the side of the SUV. At last, the TVC also confirmed that the Alcazar will get remote unlocking and can also be unlocked by bringing your phone close to the SUV.  

The Rear section of the 2025 Alcazar is very similar to that of the Creta. However, there is one change, which is the tail lamp design. The Creta has much of a boxy design to its tail lamp, on the other hand, we can see that the 2025 Alcazar will get simple H-shaped connected Tail lamps. Moreover, the turbo variant of the 2025 Alcazar will have a real exhaust output design. 

2025 Hyundai Alcazar Interiors

The 2025 Alcazar will have an upmarket design for its interiors compared to the Creta. Though it will be based on Creta’s interiors by using all the similar components but, the leather and cabin experience will be premium in the Alcazar. 

The 2025 Alcazar will use the same set of equipment from the Creta - 10.25-inch Infotainment screen & Instrument Cluster that is a connected unit, Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Ventilated Seats, Electric Steering wheel with button controls, Glossy finish on the Single Zone Climate control unit & Media Controls, Wireless Charging Pad, Cup Holders in the Center Console with an Armrest on First and Second row of seats, Panoramic Sunroof, Ac vents for all three rows, Seat Belt with Adjustable headrests for all three rows, Electric Seats for the Front two seats, etc. 

2025 Hyundai Alcazar Engine Options

The Alcazar used to get two engine options - a 2.0 L Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine and a 1.5 L Diesel Engine, which is also shared with the Creta. The 2.0 L Petrol Engine will be dropped, as Hyundai has developed a new 1.5 L Turbo Petrol unit that produces 160 hp and 250 Nm torque. On the other hand, the Diesel unit will be continued on the 2025 Alcazar, and that unit produces 113 hp and 250 Nm torque. 

2025 Hyundai Alcazar Price and Launch Details

The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar launch will happen ahead of the coming festive season. Mostly, in the month coming month of September. 

The 2025 Alcazar’s price will be updated and increased with the new additions made to the SUV. We believe that the SUV could start from ₹17 Lakhs.
