The 2024 Fortuner is one of the most anticipated launches to happen in the coming year and new spy shots have appeared giving details of the SUV’s new front Fascia and interior.

 

The latest spy shots have appeared on Instagram which appear to be detailing a part of the brochure of the new SUV which is a bit odd as till now the testing has not even started and Toyota already made the brochure of it.

 

At the top, the front of the new Toyota SUV is visible with a new front grill much bigger than before, surrounded by chrome and similar to the one seen on the new Toyota Grand Highlander. The grill has connected headlights which contain an LED bar merging into the grill and three light beam led Lights below the DRL. The headlights have a black grill-like part below them like that on the Land Cruiser LC300 and connect to the lower part of the bumper which contains the grey ski plate, and LED Flog lamps which also work as Turn indicators.

 

The overall shape of this new Fortuner looks similar to the Present one with some minute changes here and there but the aggressive looks remain the same so the question is whether these are renders or images of the real 2024 Fortuner. The overall image looks quite real and looks like it is of the brochure of the new Fortuner, but who knows?

 

Below the front looks of the SUV are the interior details where the interior image of the 2024 Fortuner Hybrid is visible, which look exactly the same as those of the Land Cruiser 300 with the same steering design, same dashboard with the 10-inch screen, same AC Vents and center console. There is literally no difference noticeable which is unstable as Toyota won’t give the same interiors in their ₹ 50 lakhs SUV as their 2.5 Crore SUV obviously.

And below them are the full interior images where the seats have a dual-tone red and black finish in one image and a black finish in one image but the image of the red and black interior is clearly of the Land Cruiser’s interior, so it’s unclear whether these images are really of the 2024 Fortuner’s interior.

If these things become real then the new 2023 Fortuner will be more of a facelift than a full-on new Generation as the overall body remains the same and the changes are mainly in the front looks and maybe the rear tailgates, the powertrain which this time will be a hybrid diesel one and the interiors of these Spy-shots are reals.

The next generation Fortuner is expected to launch by 2024 last quarter so, almost 1.5 years later, and will first launch in International markets like Indonesia and Thailand and then within a Few Months in India.

 

Powertrain

 

The next generation Fortuner will get a diesel hybrid powertrain under which the SUV will get great torque for off-roading along with the fuel efficiency of a hybrid motor.

 

Price

In terms of pricing and Toyota being Toyota, don’t expect the next generation Fortuner to be cheap as compared to the current one, and seeing Toyota’s Pricing trend, the Ex-showroom pricing of their new generation vehicle is similar to the on-road price of the last generation, to this time expect prices around ₹ 45-60 Lakhs Ex-showroom India.
