Every other Carmaker dreams to be at the place where Maruti Suzuki is standing today in the Indian Automotive Industry. The Number One spot has always been the place with which Carmakers could show what they are capable of. Well, with respect to Gasoline Vehicles, it is nearly impossible to grab that spot now. But, in the EV sector, as it has not even kick-started in India properly, Carmakers have got a golden chance to grab that spot right from now. And that is what Tata Motors is up to.
Here are a few spotted changes from the circulated spy shots of the upcoming Tata.ev vehicle - Tata Punch.ev.
The upcoming Tata Punch.ev will pack a similar Front Fascia like the Facelifted Tata Nexon.ev, with the DRLs and Headlamps placed in a split format. The particulars will have their own designated stylish housing.
Most probably the whole Front Fascia will be kept packed and Body colour will be used in most of the areas in order to differentiate it from the ICE version of the Punch, like Tata Motors did with the Nexon.ev. As in the ICE Punch the black Plastic Cladding runs throughout the body.
The Grille design will also be changed compared to the ICE Punch’s grille. It will be kept more angular in shape.
It might also get an addition of Air curtains on both the sides at the front.
The upcoming Tata Punch.ev will feature the new design trait that Tata Motors has introduced for its new vehicles. Therefore, this addition will bring in an LED Headlamp setup like on the Facelifted Tata Nexon.ev.
However, it seems that the Punch.ev might only get an LED projector setup and will exclude the LED Fog Lamps, unlike the Facelifted Tata Nexon.ev.
As we saw in the 2023 Nexon.ev and also the 2023 ICE Nexon that the DRLs have been given a different design compared to its pre-facelift model. The same will be carried forward onto the upcoming Punch.ev, its DRLs will be redesigned compared to its ICE version. They will have a turn at their end.
The ICE Punch gets a Tri-arrow-filled Air Dams setup. This spied Punch.ev will be having a more simplified design for its Air Dam. As seen in the spy shot, there are a total of 10 slats for the Air dams in the front grille.
The Punch.ev will feature a new set of Alloy wheels. These Alloys will have a Turbine inspired design, like the ones in the Nexon.ev and they will be designed in a way to cater to the aerodynamics of the vehicle, though no plastic casing is seen on the wheels, but still they will be comparatively efficient.
A set of changes will be made in the interiors of the upcoming Punch.ev as well. As the 2023 Nexon has already set a benchmark for future Tata cars, the Punch.ev has to bring in some exceptional Technological upgrades. As the interiors of the Punch.ev were not spied on, we expect these components in the interiors to be updated in the the Punch.ev -
